Today we’d like to introduce you to Trisha Gardner.
Hi Trisha, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My business partner, Audra Canfield, and I met through our husbands in Dallas in 2004. We instantly became best friends. As our husbands worked extra hours at the office, we started dreaming of businesses to start. We both love creative problem solving and knew we could make a mark on different industries by offering a fresh perspective. Our first company was Designer Fluff, a throw pillow company dedicated to interior designers across the US. That company has been in business for over 10 years now, and continues to grow as more local workrooms close and designers continue to rely on us to fulfill orders efficiently and with consistent and reliable quality.
In 2012, we started our second company together, EdgeQuarters. Audra had been hired to design an office space in New York, where she brought the residential world of design into a commercial space. The timing was perfect, as it was the beginning of trend in commercial spaces that continues today. EdgeQuarters has since designed and furnished over 2 million square feet of office space in several states across the U.S. including Arizona, California, Connecticut, New York, Texas, and Washington
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Business mimics the rest of life, it ebbs and flows. We have experienced tremendous growth in our companies, so there are endless adjustments to keep things running smoothly. As small companies, our resources are often limited. So, we’ve gotten very creative when finding financing and manpower to complete our projects. We rely heavily on our great team of employees, who are always dedicated to making sure our clients are well cared for by pushing boundaries and finding creative solutions.. We have also formed amazing partnerships throughout the country with vendors that help us ensure our clients receive great products and service. As inevitable changes occur in our industries and the economy as a whole, we are there to find new answers and better ways of doing things.

We have one workroom on the east coast and one in Texas to guarantee consistent quality and efficiency for our clients. We offer 10 different sizes, 3 edge finishes, and also complete customization.
EdgeQuarters is a commercial interior design firm creating captivating and unique spaces across the country. We work with our clients to design offices, restaurants, stores, etc that exemplify who they are as a company and give their employees and clients spaces that they look forward to visiting.
What matters most to you?
In business, I value always pushing for the best. I don’t like to rely on the way things have always been done if there is a better way to look at them. In life, it is the relationships built with family, friends, and colleagues and the memories we are creating that matter most to me. Finding balance between the two is always a struggle, but I try to live with no regrets.
