Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah D’Eletto.
Hi Sarah, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I moved from Michigan to Arizona right after graduating from nursing school, and my goal was to be a NICU nurse. As a new grad, a NICU job was hard to come by, so I took a PCU Tele job at the banner and realized very early on bedside nursing was not for me. I had an amazing team at the banner and stayed for two years before finding my passion as an aesthetic nurse. I then completed my neurotoxin and dermal filler certification courses and landed my first injecting job at a small medspa in chandler. Over the next two years, I expanded my skills and knowledge through seminars, videos, facial anatomy books, hands-on training with the best injectors, and finally landed my dream job with It’s A Secret Medspa in Scottsdale.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I wouldn’t say smooth, but I’ve been luckier than most. One of the most difficult parts of being a new injector is landing your first job. Everyone wants 2+ years of experience, and most companies don’t want to “start from scratch” with a new injector. I was very lucky because I could get a job immediately after completing my course training, but for many people, it can take months or even a year to get a job.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am an aesthetic nurse injector, providing a wide range of services from Neurotoxins, Kybella, Sculptra, PRF, Dermal Fillers, and Non-Surgical BBLs. I specialize in facial balancing, which rejuvenates the face by balancing the features using dermal fillers in a quick and safe procedure. Through art, aesthetic sensibilities, and anatomical knowledge, I give each patient a customized treatment plan to meet their concerns. I truly feel rewarded for the positive impact I can provide clients through the art of aesthetics.
What do you think about happiness?
I love helping others. In this area of nursing, you help build confidence. I love seeing clients’ faces after a treatment, you can see their happiness radiant, which makes me happy.
