Conversations with Fredy Moso

Today we’d like to introduce you to Fredy Moso.

Fredy, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Born and raised in Nogales Arizona and currently residing in Tucson. I’ve been recording music for about seven years. Photography and motion picture became a passion of mine through the years, mostly because of correlation to the music piece. My latest approach to this music is in Spanish. something I’ve been talking about doing for a long time.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My biggest struggle I think was getting started. I had to trust my gut. You have to believe in yourself and everything you do, and sometimes it ain’t easy. I really don’t think a smooth road exists though. Everyone starts the race from a different position, some with advantages over others, but we run the same marathon. I’ve always felt that if I kept my lane, I would clear those hurdles.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a Mexican-American recording artist. I have been recording music for 7+ years, but over the last couple of years we’ve really been taking the business side a bit more seriously. I shoot and edit videos too. The plan is to do as much as we can within the camp. I currently record bilingual rap/trap music, mostly Spanish. The goal is to continue creating. Everyday.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
I’ve never really had a mentor to date. Use the internet and social media properly. Explore and engage. The more time you invest in these platforms engaging and building relationships the more longevity you’ll get from your following.
