Community Highlights: Meet Laura Jewett

Today we’d like to introduce you to Laura Jewett.

Laura, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My journey into real estate wasn’t a lifelong dream or something that I had thought about prior to meeting my would-be husband in my senior year of college. He was getting licensed at the time as his parents had a brokerage company and he grew up in the real estate world. So when I graduated, I continued my career as an event planner but also took real estate classes on the side and got licensed in January 2001.

Having degrees in Marketing and Entrepreneurship, I have always been passionate about owning and running my own business. So shortly, thereafter, I decided to leave the event industry to pursue real estate full time and have never looked back! My business has always been focused on the client experience and providing the highest level of service possible.

I have had the good fortune to share this love of real estate with my husband and we have been enveloped in the real estate industry for over 21 years having personally experienced the highs and lows of some of the best and worst markets. Having faced and overcome the challenges and heartaches during the lows of the market helped in developing the real-world experience that we can now use to better relate to and provide direction to our clients.

We live in real estate all day every day and this gives us unique expertise that not all can offer. We have a building division for custom homes, vacation and long-term rentals, direct access to trustee sale property bidding and hard money lending as well as extensive experience in all of the other traditional buying and selling resources to best serve all of the needs of our clients.

I love real estate and I love having the opportunity to connect with my clients during the sometimes emotional process of selling their family home to find the perfect home for the next chapter in their lives or to expand their investment portfolio! Knowing the importance of what a home is, we take our mission to provide the highest level of customer care to inspire and transform the lives of our clients very seriously.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
While we have endured some bumpy roads along the path of our own real estate investing journey, these experiences have only made us stronger and wiser.

We have been blessed with an amazing army of clients that know, like and trust us and refer us to their family and friends… which is the truest of any compliment that we can receive.

We are dedicated to providing superior customer service to our clients and are honored and humbled by the referrals and testimonials of our service to them!

As a Native Arizonan, it has been incredible to watch my city grow, change and evolve over the years.

As Realtors, we play an integral role in guiding people to discover all that our state has to offer and to make the housing decisions that will best meet their current needs. Our mission is to provide inspiration to our clients through our four cornerstones of being service-driven, committed, involved, and grateful. We are the Inspired Living Real Estate Collective, a division of Tru Realty. So even our name conveys our team mission to provide the tools to give our clients the ability to find inspiration throughout their entire homeownership journey as well as their lives beyond the transaction.

I truly love connecting people with the perfect home for the next chapter in their lives. I love earning clients’ trust and having them share their very personal family goals and aspirations with me, sharing in their excitement about what we are working on together and inviting me to be part of their major decision-making moments.

This is such an awesome privilege in which I feel inspired, but am also honored to be on their “team” and do not take this responsibility lightly. A home is a story of who we are and a collection of the things we love. Being a partner and an advocate to help my clients achieve this goal is my privilege.

The thing I am most proud of is the expansion of our community charitable giving program. For several years we have been actively supporting Arizona Helping Hands, the largest provider of essential needs for foster children in Arizona.

But we wanted to do more! So, we launched a strategic philanthropic program called OPERATION GIVE BACK which focuses on four core areas: Children, Health, Homelessness, and Animals, and added Maggie’s Place, Arizona Pet Project, and The Joy Bus to our lineup of charity partners! A portion of every commission we earn is contributed to one of these local charities on behalf of our clients.

We also continue to host contribution drives throughout the year to collect essential items for these amazing organizations. We are honored to serve these incredible organizations and support their missions to make our communities stronger, better, and more connected!

We are committed to giving back in our own backyard and cheerfully contributing to creating a community!
