Today we’d like to introduce you to Roman Khachaturyan.
Hi Roman, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
In 2019 I opened a sneaker and streetwear store in Kansas City, Missouri. We gained popularity in the city and quickly became the largest streetwear store in Missouri. My wife and I got married in Paradise Valley, Arizona in 2022 and fell in love with Arizona.
We quickly realized we wanted to open up a sister store in Old Town and began looking for a space. We opened up right behind the sugar bowl in the heart of Old Town in February of 2023 and are quickly growing. Our store manager from Kansas City, Missouri, Noah Allwood, moved down to Scottsdale to run the store.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Finding the right space in a good location was the biggest challenge so far.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We are a buy, sell, trade sneaker, and vintage shop.
We specialize in having the largest variety of selections and the best customer service. We want everyone that comes into our store to get the best service possible. I am most proud of our team, nothing would be possible without them.
We are truly into the culture and community and so we are extremely knowledgeable about what we are selling.
What matters most to you? Why?
Customers. Without them, we wouldn’t have a business. I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life.
